If you're into the longform progressive stuff, I suggest the album Alleycat by Nucleus
If you're into some chill jazz with a bit of latin influence, I suggest the album "All of Me" by Masayoshi Takanaka
Also I just really like recommending people check out "The Royal Scam" by Steely Dan because it's my favorite album of theirs

Scary Pockets are amazing if you like funk!
I recommend "I will survive" and "Etta James Lauryn Hill mashup" (also called "I'd rather go blind" on spotify).

Also a little fun fact: Their piano player is multi millionaire and co-owner of Patreon, Jack Conte.

There's also Postmodern Jukebox. Not sure if they qualify as jazz but they're also very fun imo.
Their songs I recommend listening to first are their cover of "creep" and anything sung by "Puddles Pity Party".

As a fusion jazz listener, my top five would be something like this (in no particular order):

David Sanborn - Backstreet
> It’s smoother fusion, but very pleasant to listen to. I’ve actually listened to it while I browse around here and it fits the vibe nicely.

Lee Ritenour - On the Line
> The Rit Variations in particular, but the whole album is solid.

Dave Grusin - Night-Lines
> Solid synthesizers with a cinematic feel. Tick Tock will probably end up on my Spotify most-played list this year… and that’s only counting the times I was too lazy to get it off of the shelf.

(Frankly, just about anything by those three is going to be pretty good.)

Weather Report
> Yes, Heavy Weather is better, but the original is nice too if you can stand it.

The GRP All-Star Big Band - All Blues
> Lots of jazz standards, very listenable.

Honorable mentions:
(Funk)
Rhythm Heritage - Disco-Fied
> It’s just a fun little album. I played MTG with this in the background - a little too often.

(Jazz)
Dave Grusin - Migration
> The first half is wonderful. The second half is strange. Both are lovely in their own ways.

Some albums I enjoyed listening to recently:
Pat Metheny Group - S/T
Himiko Kikuchi - Flying Beagle
Cortex - Troupeau bleu
Béla Fleck & the Flecktones - Live at the Quick
