Concerning these two posts. Many people interpret these two characters to be Mei and Gabu from One Stormy Night. However the artist makes no confirmation of this in their FA tags or description. On top of that, the characters don't resemble Mei or Gabu enough. I would fix the tags but have already done so before on the first post and don't want to start a conflict. What is the correct way to go about this?

I do believe the way to go when there's a tag dispute is flag report the post and request an admin to intervene (and usually lock the tags)

I want to state for the record (if anyone sees this thread in the future) that I used the "report" option to file the tagging complaint. "Flag" is for post deletion.

I would avoid tagging if the original artist only used general terms to name the characters, as zackary911 did. There's a lot of leeway artists have in making characters that are just inspired by canon ones from major copyrights, and if there aren't enough "trademark" identifying features, it's best to be safe and treat it as an oc.
