I know nothing about real ninjas. Do all ninjas aspire to justice and therefore do not participate in war?

I didn't pay much attention in history class, but I'd imagine it's got something to do with ninjas not being as powerful as nuclear bombs.

I dunno, ninjas also got giant foxes that shoot out nukes themselves. OP's got a point.

Before the defeat of World War II, only the United States had a nuclear bomb. There were also countries outside the United States that fought against Japan during World War II

The ninjas were on vacation that year.

The serious answer is ninjas even in real life were better in stealth mission or assassination, direct combat or fights in troops aren't their strength so Japan had to fight the war the conventional way.

Not to say Japan wasn't fierce in the war without "ninjas", read about the Pacific Theater.

Indeed, I think the ninjas in some works are like a mixture of magic and combat

what kind of Ninjas are we talking about here?
The fukin guys who run around on rooftops throwing shirikens & kunai knives?

Or realistically, Assassins who sneak in to powerhouses and eliminate targets.
I feel certain by WWII all these fantasy elements died for the sake of industrial revolution....y'know, guns, planes, BOMBS
The only thing I know Japan did in WWII is went full blown kamikazi !

and because of that, they're not allowed to have a military anymore, they have police and a small.....like....
defense force? But somewhere in the USA paperwork an agreement with Japan
stating they cannot have a military.

So where do Ninjas fit into this?
Dude, I think you're talking about 2 different time periods of Japan.
Like between the Japanese Periods & thr friggin bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Ya think Ninjas would be in WWII, hell I'd love to read that in US History!

The Yanks just rained hell on the Japanese. They didn't storm the beachs, they dropped napalm everywhere and nukes where fire wasn't.

A sentiment among the Japanese is that the romanticized/misunderstood history makes for better entertainment. Thus, the image and abilities of ninjas are generally exaggerated. In fact, the black outfit typically associated with ninja is a theatre invention (actors would wear this outfit if they weren't meant to be acknowledged by the audience.)
I'm sorry to say, but Naruto is not realistic.

Has anybody ever considered that japanese Ninjas are actually the worst ninjas because everybody knows of them? I mean, who ever heard of the Irish Ninjas?

Ninjas don't fight for the Japanese government. They fight for evil geniuses and criminal organizations.
