Why isn't racism (QoS, Striped) blacklisted by default? It is just as offensive as loli, scat, guro and whatever else, imo. It makes no sense.

If everything that was deemed offensive was blacklisted by default, there would probably be very little of e621 that could be viewed with the default blacklist.

It's pretty much just limited to the biggest things people complain about, and racism's 208 posts mean that people probably don't encounter it that often vs young (222192), scat (9890) or gore (12046)

it's less a matter of how offensive something is, and more a matter of how common are posts depicting it & how often people complain about it (offensiveness irrelevant, since people sometimes complain about the most little of things). the tags on e6 are meant to be as objective as possible, so there's bound to be posts that people find offensive yet really aren't in the grand scheme of things since offensiveness can be hard to objectify; the default blacklist's tags are meant to help people avoid content they may dislike, with the ability to add, remove, or edit entries on their blacklist once they make an account. therefore, if you dislike racism in a post you are capable of adding it to your blacklist, it doesn't need to be added to the default one for now...

It's not the literal tag 'racism', but I understand your point. Also, I would argue that pictures depicting that stuff tend to have comments opposing it than 'healthier' comments. You can also look at other booru type sites and see how out of hand this stuff can get if it is left unchecked.
