Reason: Similar to color_edit. A comic_edit is when a third party compiles comic panels into a single image, since many artists will leave panels separate when posting to sites like tumblr.

If source images are a bunch of small panels or silly thing some sites do where they break it into thin bars (like say, 150x1200, 6 per comic), and PNG, is it OK to merge them? I know that for JPEG it's a horrible practice unless you know how to do it without recompressing. There is some technical limitation even then similar to rotating them without a loss of quality, assuming there's even a tool for that (or that it's possible - but could have sworn it is). An interesting side effect of rotations is that if it's not some multiple of a compression block, it is not completely lossless (for the edge).

Like, 3840/16=240, 2080=130*16, 1024x768 old school SVGA is also a multiple of 16 in each direction. My phones and digital cameras also at least 2^4 as a factor in each dimension's resolution. Given bodies like VESA, this is not really a shock.

I should note that if a site is breaking images up like that, it might not be accidental. It may be intentional, and you should reconsider what you're doing. XD
