My friend drew an artwork by Filly Funtasia, which is suspected of plagiarism. Although this creation is not plagiarism, the video comments are all cursing. May I ask if a work that plagiarizes an original work but does not itself plagiarize should be criticized

you mean like they traced over someone else's work or they're claiming someone else's character design is their own?

because, unless they're trying to claim someone elses work as their own I don't think it's generally considered plagiarism.

I made a mistake when I was excited. His creation itself was not plagiarized, but the original work was plagiarized

so did your friend make fanart of an artist who is known to plagiarize? that's the only reason i can think of that your friend would be involved and get cursed at

edit: oh, filly funtasia is show that's very transparently inspired by mlp

My friend's creation does not show a denial of plagiarism in the original work,
