Topic: Petitioning the moderation to allow me to upload Modeseven's comic "Concession"

Posted under General

The last time I tried to upload this comic to 621 it got nuked after a few weeks of trying to communicate with the moderation through the site's email. I have never been certain whether I actually managed to fully reach the moderation and actually argue why I should be able to upload this comic.

Modeseven's Concession comic (currently only on Eka's Portal and their own site) mostly consists of human characters, but after 70~ pages the first extra-human characters start getting introduced. After that there are recurring anthro characters that show up every so often, such as an anthro bull and and sort of weird penis-medusa lady that later turns into a naga.

Some examples of anthro and extra-human characters:

https://aryion.com/g4/view/666211 First appearance of an "Arbiter" or "Waffling" with the ability to transform freely and has non-human anatomy. Appears page 72. This is the most common archetype of character design for extra-human characters in the comic. That checkerboard pattern on his body is his skin, and the character is significantly larger than a human being, even if that's hard to see in this panel. Same goes for other characters like him.
https://aryion.com/g4/view/668695 Tentacle lady. Character design is definitely not a normal human in any respect, and verges on anthro in a lot of ways. Appears page 97.
https://aryion.com/g4/view/671572 Anthro bull voring someone (Also the first appearance at page 113)
https://aryion.com/g4/view/681765 The main character gets a transformation that turns them into a shapshifter with an extra-human character design around page 187~
https://aryion.com/g4/view/771055 Several characters receive a transformation into a vaguely anthro character design with pseudo-shapeshifting powers around pages 450-500.

All of these characters are reoccurring and there are many other unincluded instances of anthro characters in the comic. While the majority of characters and scenes do not have anthro characters and it will be over 100 pages before the first genuine anthro shows up, I am seriously hoping that the moderation considers letting me upload this ongoing 700+ page comic to the site over the next few months. I really, really want more people to be able to appreciate it.

I immediately object to that first example, no part of the page's visual content communicates an unambiguous nonhuman feature. Alternate skin colors (or patterns, for that matter) do not themselves constitute nonhuman features.
The second example is much better in that respect, but that's still a full 96 pages of human-only content. That's equivalent to a -24 upload limit reduction.

This page probably shows the non-human parts a bit better, along with the size difference. The legs are distinctly non-human with those kinda cyberpunk-like spike feet, and the transformation being displayed with the neck extending and this character still being alive after being half-melted and all that.

The large portion of the comic that doesn't have anthro-anything in it is where I'm asking for some wiggle room. After that threshhold is reached the comic becomes much more alien with strange environments and characters.

e6 dosn't usually like to host comics unless the grand majority of posts contain relevant characters. and also we don't make it a habit of hosting entire ongoing webcomics with hundreds of pages and no end in sight.

if there's a large portion of this comic with 0 furry material, then it isn't a furry comic, it's irrelevant to this site's goals

the allowance for posts that only have humans is expressly there for largely animal-focused comics that would be hampered or even illegible if they had various pages missing. no offense but this feels like an exploit in the rules just so you can get a comic you like onto a site you like

btw: can you check-in on the comic runners to see if they're alright with reuploads of their work? the limited proliferation of this comic suggests that they don't want their stuff being available on a platform they have very little control over (like a booru)

This isn't far off, but I'm not trying to be malicious or anything, I just wanted the comic to have more exposure. I wasn't entirely aware of the nuance behind that specific rule. I think I get the idea that 621 probably isn't the best bet for this comic, but if a mod happens to greenlight me on this I'd still like to upload it.

don't worry, i don't think you're being malicious and i'm sorry i couldn't come up with a better way to word it. again, this is a comic you clearly really like and i get that

Isn't it the one with the anthro lizard that does the office sex thing? And gets caught by the boss.
Yeah, it has a LOT of furry content, but maybe the author can post a few examples and link to non-furry chapters from the furry chapters' pools? Thinking it would be a compromise. Reminds me that I need to get some more uploads uploaded to the uploading machine that uploads things.

:clicks:
Oh damn it, entirely different comic. They have about as much relationship as Mask (Cher/Eric Sholtz) has with The Mask (Jim Carrey).
