Topic: Is there any interesting game I can play?

Posted under Off Topic

That is furry preferably. I already know of changed, animal royale and tribal hunter (huge recommend for that one!) but i wanna try something new. I also got cuphead like everybody else and am looking forward to get "Mouse". ign dropped the trailer on youtube.

I ain't touching Sonic Superstars.

Beacon Pines
Night into Woods
Cult of the Lamb
Fuga: Melodies of Steel 1/2

If it's not furry focused there is Neon White, Samurai Showdown RPG (recently translated, use Raine instead of FBevo for emulation but change the sound quality to 4200 I think or it will lag).

Good suggestions. Night in the woods looked very boring, so didn't play when it was popular. Is it any good gameplaywise?

Watsit

Privileged

Dust: An Elysian Tale (action platformer with animal/anthro characters)
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (rogue-like with pokemon)
Solatorobo (mech brawler/rpg with anthro characters)

Night in the Woods is a narrative adventure game. More specifically, I'd describe it as a "punk existentialist narrative adventure game". It has great characters and atmosphere. If by "gameplay" you mean skill-based challenges, it doesn't have much.

Like Vulpes said, it's more of a "narrative game" with some mini games here and there, unfortunately Beacon Pines is like this too just less "punkish and nihilistic" and more cute.

- Rain World
- Hyper Light Drifter
- A Short Hike
- Tunic
- Rivals of Aether
- Ori
- Sly Cooper
- Ratchet and Clank
- Spyro

Already played the remakes of spyro and ratchet, kinda forgot they existed. A remake of sly cooper would be cool. Surprising theres no mention of crash bandicoot anywhere on your list.

Some games made in GZDoom: (you don't even need Doom for any of them)

Lycanthorn 1 and 2

Shadow of the Wool Ball and Rise of the Wool Ball

Hellslinger

as for the gameplay mods that you'd expect to be brimming with furry stuff, but all that I can find that isn't just a statbar face nor shit is:

Jazz Jackrabbit Doom

The Guncaster

and also i guess it'smeveronica's companion mods count

don't know why there aren't any anthro monster replacements. there are plenty of furries in doomworld... guess bara barons and caco holes are good enough for them

Damn forgot that one. While we're at it we can throw Banjo-Kazooie and Cronker in there. I think that covers most of the late 90s / early 2000s furry platformers and collect-a-thons.

I second the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon recommendation, just play it on an emulator with a speed setting if you can.

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey has been described by critics as "Like Elden Ring, but with monkeys."

Goat Sim 3 is also good.

Toontown: Corporate Clash (reimagining of toontown online with new bosses and mechanics)
Backpack Hero (inventory management rougelike)
Undertale 2 (silly rpgmaker parody of undertale with an in-depth fishing minigame )
zortch (non-furry low-res fps game where you try to escape from a planet filled with various dangers like humanoid blobs with guns, raptors, and various robots)

The first one is an mmo which I don't like. I have had bad experiences with World of Warcraft and avoid everyone of them altogether. Also I thought it was shutdown years ago?

I already tried the second one and it doesnt work, it crashes immediately ater opening it and after reviewing the discord, steam forums, twitter and reddit I just asked for a refund, this game looks broken. Maybe my problem had nothing to do with the game, but my setup or configs, but I reckon I dodged a bullet thanks to the community.

I was looking for serious games, not shitposts I play once and then delete forever.

The last one is the most interesting, but it looks ugly in a bad overbearing way. It has a very good score and apparently no problem, but it looks too dark and has (almost?) flashing lights with the fast bright projectiles, I am photosensitive and I don't think I could handle the game.

Sorry, but hard pass on all of them.

Gunfire Reborn if you like roguelites

Didn't see your comment there, but it looks very cool so I'll give it a try. I hope it's not too hard I don't like those types of games they make me mad sometimes.

Sorry for not replying sooner either.
Good suggestions, I will look into them. I'm worried Goat Simulator 3 is a one-off game, so I dunno if I wanna play that, but it looks somewhat fun becourse it's a sandbox.

I looked at every other game that were suggested to me on this thread and many were good, a few were games I already owned and the remaining games were just not made for me and I couldn't really enjoy them.

Ok so Im wondering Ive posted this image not knowing who this character was I thought he was an oc
post #4200371
and now Im often seeing images from this series called 'little tail bronx' on social sites, from avatars to fanarts. I'm interested to try it out, but I dont know what the games are about and which game I should play first since there are so many.

Notknow recommended Fuga and Watsit Solatorobo, which are both part of that series, but I dunno if it is good for a first game ie: if there is a continuity between games. Not mentioned was Tail Concerto and there was a discontinued mobil game based on the series called 'little tail story'

I'm looking at the wiki to get any idea where to start.

It's definitely the type of game that you can only beat once or twice. There's a lot of content in it, but the challenges don't reset, so you'll still have a tornado tearing up the city or an area wiped out by a bomb even after you quit the game.
