Topic: so I have quite a few questions about posting art.

Posted under Off Topic

I would Like to share some art of my main fursona or other fursona's that I have.
how do i post them by that I mean i want to know if these questions could be answered or if you have section on here to guide me through?

what is the Minimum required tags?
how does one credit the artist?
how do i post my fursona's name as a tag? is it an OC? or do I just give a separate tag?
what is the most I can post in a day?
What quality is recommended to post of the art? like is there a minimum where you say its bad and i should try posting a better quality?
If for some reason the tag doesn't exist like if its a new hybrid. do I tag the hybrid name or do i just tag hybrid?
Am I allowed to show off the reference art?

I have an F.A. im so use to posting on there but i heard they cut the upload quality? unless I misread that.

A lot of this is covered in the help section if you're looking for official answers, but I'll try my best to help. I'm not an admin/moderator.

- You should tag as much as you can within reason. The hard coded minimum is ten tags from the general category.

- If the artist has had their art posted here before there should be a tag for them, if not you'll need to create a tag. During the upload write 'artist:name' in the tag section and it will create a new artist tag on upload.

- Same thing as before, during the upload write "character:name_(zafu)".

- For you the max is 10 posts a day, but this can increase or decrease.

- If you mean quality in terms of file quality, then you should always post the best quality version of the art available.

- Do not make a new tag for a specific hybrid. Just add the generic "hybrid" tag.

- I assume you mean like a model sheet? That should be fine to upload.

- Yes, Fur Affinity does cut the quality in images uploaded to their site.

adding to these points:

- PNGs are obviously preferred.
- if it is a hybrid, yes tag it as hybrid, and also tag the species they are a hybrid of, e.g: a cat and shark hybrid should be tagged domestic_cat shark and hybrid

to add to this, this should go without saying, but add sources if available elsewhere.
