Slightly off topic (relating to a different tag), under what circumstances are alternate forms implicated?

Generally when the base tag doesn't indicate a specific form, but references the group of forms as a whole. For example, shaymin doesn't correspond to any particular form, so sky_forme_shaymin and land_forme_shaymin which are distinct forms implicate it (that's a species instead of a character, but the same principle applies).
