I... don't think that's a thing? I've never noticed any such pattern.

Yeah? Ask your cheetah friends.

If they say no, then they are lying

Why do you think their fur is yellow? Wake up sheep anthros

And why are Cheetos yellow?
That's a question the woke mainstream media is strangely silent on.

Strange, I thought the cheetahs were more into hyperendowment for some reason.

Why are all skunk anthros into farting?

Simple cartoon skunks are good at it. That bear movie a decade ago had a skunk in it that would fart at the characters I think it was the whole joke. Real skunks like to use a smelly pheromone as a deterrent against predators, that's another reason.

I did some informal playing around with the urine tag, combining it with various species, and cheetah urine doesn't return more results than you'd expect given cheetah's size. So I'm not sure the premise of the question is sound.

Guys I just want to know why the cheetahs are into piss

Theres no reason. That cant be explained.

Problem is it seems to be something that came outta nowhere. Anytime you look at a species and its relationship to a fetish art you can always pinpoint why.

Skunks and farting: Skunks have a gland in their ass to deter predators
Bears and fat fetishism: Bears are fat
Rabbits and feet: Rabbits have large feet
Kangaroo and boxing (and feet): Stereotype
Foxes and sissy fetishism: Foxes are cute and silly
Snakes and vore: Most snakes can gobble whole their preys
Scorbunny/Cinderace and feet: Trailer + having big rabbit feetsies
Treecko and feet: Round toes
Raichu and feet: Big feet
Skunktank and farting: you know

The list is endless, but there is explanation for every fetish that go for every species both real and fictional. I dunno what to say and nobody else know what to say.

Sometimes it's caused by a one-off gag or a cartoon. Snakes having an hypnotic gaze came from the Jungle Book. Maybe this is whats going on??

If anything cheetahs should focus on athletism (a lesser form of muscle fetishism) because the meme that carried over to the cartoon world for most folks is the fact cheetahs are very fast.

Kangaroos, particularly males, will actually engage in ritualized "boxing" of sorts to establish dominance.

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say it is related to felines marking their territory with urine.

This is pure gold content right here, no cap.

As a bear furry, about 60% of my interactions with new furries online go like this:
Them: Oh hey a bear!
Me: Yup
Them: Can I rub your big fat belly? I love big fat hairy men!
Me: Hi, that's a stereotype. I'm neither fat nor hairy. Also my character isn't fat either.
Them: [Last online a long time ago]

did some testing on this site

overweight spectags:2

surely enough, lots of bear images. "bear" is even in the tag sidebar.

cheetah 263 pages

cheetah + watersports 2 pages

cheetah + peeing 2 pages

cheetah + urine stream 1 page

cheetah + wetting 1 page

cheetah + urine in mouth 1 page

the question shouldn't be "why are seemingly all the cheetah furs into piss" but "why are all the cheetah furs who are into piss the only ones who interact with me" is there something you're not telling us?

cheetah urine/cheetah 140/19691= .71%

felid urine/felid 3845/647842 = .59%

so, I mean, it is about a 20% increase from the larger population of felid characters, but with such a small sample size it's hard to come to any real conclusion. it's also worth noting that there are species outside if felids that have numbers higher than that .71% as well.
