Topic: Wishing for more specific solo tags

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

I'd like to be able to blacklist solo_male without blacklisting solo_female. As a lesbian lacking the ability to filter out just the solo male stuff without missing out on female solo stuff is really frustrating.

Try blacklisting solo male. That will block any solo posts with males but not ones with females.

Updated

If a post is tagged solo male female, it's more than likely tagged incorrectly. The combination tags don't exist due using the two being a rough equivalent.

solo -female

should blacklist all solo pictures that are not female only. Including all the other genders that e6 tags, rather than just males. If solo_female would apply to a post, so would solo and female, same with any other gender, so I don't really see how having a specific solo tag would help here since if they aren't tagged properly in the first place the your blacklist would likely already fail.

There should be no case where solo and male would be in the post if there is a female in the art as well as then it isn't solo.

Thank you. I wasn't aware of a conditional function. Solo_male wanted to autocorrect to --> Male instead. I had no idea that solo male(one line) could do that. I ended up searching the FAQ for answers and found Tag Scripts where I thought "change tags" meant "changing function" when it actually meant "edit post's tags." I thought of this as a Tag problem, and didn't think to look in the Blacklist Help FAQ because all of the other tag functions are under the Tags FAQ.

Thank you, I appreciate it. I'll keep this in mind. I was very confused because I couldn't find instructions for this. All the other tagging instructions are under Tags, except this which was in Blacklist Help. It gave me a false impression that conditional tags were not accessible to basic users.

Not sure why, but this didn't work? I added "solo male" to my black list in one line but I'm still getting images tagged with both.

Not sure why, but this isn't working. I added a line and included "solo male" and I'm still getting images with both??

Each blacklist entry should be on its own line, if you just want to blacklist solo male, then it should be on its own line. My solo -female was just a suggested replacement to that entry based on your post.

A) Did you blacklist solo male on ONE line, with all your other blacklist items on OTHER lines?
B) Is your blacklist actually turned on? You can turn off individual items or the whole thing in the sidebar on the posts page. Make sure it's on

I suggest adding this line to your blacklist:
solo male -female/female
The -female/female unblocks posts that also have female/female in it, so you can still see comics or multi-images like this
post #1732149
where there's an image of a solo male but ALSO an image of lesbians.
