I came to e621 for the porn, as I'm sure we all did. But I found out there's actually a fairly large collection of quality SFW art here as well. But I'm sure we aren't typically searching for our favorite kink tags when searching for safe posts.

Whether you tend to explicitly seek out safe posts on here, what's your favorite tag when used in safe posts? It doesn't have to be a tag that's only safe. Also, how often do you intentionally seek out safe posts vs coming across them by chance while browsing?

I'll start: My favorite is furgonomics which I just recently learned is when clothing and other real world items are adapted for use by those with furry anatomy (wings, paws, tails, etc). It's kind of creatively stimulating and gives me ideas for art I could make myself.
It's also fun to look through humor from time to time.

I love looking at posts along the lines of what and where_is_your_god_now. They're fun, ridiculous, and often show absolutely incredible feats of artistic skill. Plus, I get to pull the good ol' "hey look what I found" to my friends. Plus, sometimes I find new artists I really admire in them. I have a soft spot for people who aren't afraid to get weird with it.

Oh my gosh, that's the fun thing about safe tags is I had no idea these existed since they won't usually be used on art that's intended to be appealing. Thanks for letting us know about these! lol

athletic_female and similar tags such as muscular_female and tomboy. I enjoy looking at things I admire irl even in art. Its nice to turn on the safe button especially with more personal interests. (cool topic)

I need to spend more time in the tomboy tag in general to be honest- rating:s or otherwise. I haven't really looked at it recently.

Any kind of alternative_fashion (though that doesn't work as an umbrella yet) but I like looking at the subtags just for the cool outfits.

In general I think even when looking at NSFW art I'm more interested in it art-wise than porn-wise most of the time.

I only post my art here because I dislike the algorithm systems of basically every other social media site. Posting here feels a lot more relaxed.

personally my favorite tag for safe artwork is the rating:safe tag

Romatic (ambience, couple), kissing, embrace. Some more moments of love between one another is welcome in my book. It doesn't always have to be someone going balls deep or sounding/looking like their eating on a watermelon, or dirty talk. Variety helps spice things up, even if it is vanilla as can be.
