Hello all, I'm just a regular user who wants to upload and share art. The problem is that some of my uploads "does not meet the minimun quality standards". I know that some artwork could be horrid, but come on! Here's an example of my uploads that got erased (the strange thing is that it was approved... then was removed!)

So, What do you think, guys? Do you think it was unfair, or it's fair the removal?

*I have seen some horrible artwork approved here, like a spongebob macro with giant feet and other crazy stuff that have negative score lol.

I just want to know what are those standards, I know it's based on the admin criteria, but It should be at least a clear list or something for the uploaders!

If the first one was scanned a bit better, and the lines were a bit less sketch-y, then maybe.
Second one, iunno, don't really find it ugly, but the anatomy is pretty derp.

In the end it's up to the admins, and they didn't find it good enough to stay.

Bad image quality in conjunction with a not so good drawing style altogether.

However, this looks more like a problem with the program than artistic skill; especially the blockiness of the lines is something a different/better program could prevent entirely, making it look much better.

Yeah, my scanner sucks... that's a reality.

I think I'll upload only my finished artwork. It seems in this site don't accept often sketch, or I am not right?

this topic goes to show that not all of those mike sherman pics i have can be uploaded here. due to some of those pics being quite small and that along with the artists handwriting (it's not very good), a number of them (not many out of the 1k+ mind you) probably won't be approved.

bad thing is, theres no real source to any of his pics so none of them are bvats and thus there is no real solution. :/ shame but its only like 10-30 pics out of 1k+, if that many, so its no big loss.
