What were the size and dimensions of the .swf file?

Not sure what you were seeing, but I know sometimes it will make you put in a captcha for whatever reason. It's possible your network settings (e.g., proxies) or something might've triggered this, I'm not exactly sure though. Malware scans pulled up nothing for it at least.

Out of curiosity, I tried uploading using the direct url in the source field and got it to go through, but I won't be able to tag it for a bit as I'm on mobile. If someone could give me a hand I'd appreciate it. :)

Thanks, i still have all the tags. Trying to get this man some recognition, he definitely deserves it.

Must be a preloader. No way that entire video fits in that 72KB file.

FYI it's a collaborative project between Odes and Dogson.

If you have trouble again you might have better luck copying the "download" link on FA and pasting the URL in the source field instead of downloading it to your computer. Using a direct link to the file bypasses any network/security-related oddities as e6 can just get it straight from the FA servers instead of your computer.

Note that this may not work for every site (inkbunny and pixiv I believe) because of the need to make an account (the server here isn't "logged into" FA or other accounts as far as I'm aware)

I was thinking that must've been part of the reason it wouldn't upload; though I've seen other files on here already.

i see now (ty flashget plugin). that blue spinning thing is a 72kb preloader, it's actually a 38mb video loading from somewhere else. titled Tutorial.mp4 (38mb).

well, i suppose that's one way to bypass file size limitations (assuming e621's limit is under 43mb), have it load the video off-site via a preloader or something...
