Topic: What's going on with this gen

If you look at comments at Kogitos posts on TikTok, there are various comments saying "that's a dog" or "that's a bird" to characters that are clearly anthro. It seems that they equate suggestive animal characters to zoophilia. I get one would be turned off by feral stuff, although one should separate feral art from actual real life bestiality.

Not everyone is into furries, but these people think that drawing anthro characters getting lude is zoophilia. Like I don't understand, if the characters are consenting and adult, then it shouldn't matter regardless of species. Idk, maybe there just kids who discovered this type of stuff.

A couple of things:

  • "Weird" kinks gross out normies, I think
  • I'm guessing(?) people who strictly view "real life" porn often only view things they'd like IRL, so they assume viewing furry porn must be indicative of something the viewer wants IRL, and they assume bestiality. That's my guess anyways. Then again, surely they understand the vore-fanatics probably don't want to actually get eaten... right?
  • Maybe they just want to feel superior by deeming others weirder than them...

Actually, yeah, probably mainly the last one...

They are mostly kids who like to see themselves as moral and upstanding to get validation from others. Also, I saw one comment that argues defending furry porn is like defending loli. What do you think of that?

As much as I love to complain about zoomers, this isn't really something unique to them. Equating furry porn to zoophilia has been around for decades.

Just ignore them.

They're not wrong. Art is art. It's pixels on a screen. The part they probably left out is that it's not hurting anyone.

there's even subsets of furries that do it; feral == zoophilia regardless of context, animal genitals on anthro == zoophilia, etc.. it's a mixture of the fiction vs. reality thing and garden variety kinkshaming.

personally, I can't even start to understand the point of being a furry if you're going to be so restrictive about what you deem as "okay" that you're leaving out all of the fun stuff, but...

I mean, it's pixels on a screen, ink on a page, it's all moraly neutral, for the most part.

I totally forgot about burned furs until seeing it mentioned recently, haha.

This type of debate wasn't widespread 10 years ago, I wonder what happened.

Plus, I see a bunch of normies on Tiktok talking about how they got a crush on certain feral cartoon animals. These type of furries need to have the ability to separate a literal real-life dog from cartoon dogs that can talk and consent.

It wasn't widespread in the sense that not many people outside the community talked about it openly 10 years ago

I wonder if it's being directed, somehow. Like, there's something non-obvious that's only noticeable because there's now billions of people on the Internet.

Tiktok is like twitter, if you're reading/listening to opinions on there you are hurting yourself. Go there for memes or whatever sure but don't listen to what any of the people there have to say. If they're freaking out about something just hit whatever passes for block/mute on tiktok
