ok seriously, they're biting and scratching other students, using litter boxes in the school, eating out of dog dishes, fucking shit people really, there's the furry community and then there are people who want to be literal animals, I know I always said there's no rules to being a furry, but after this, we need some fucking rules people, I consider myself a furry but I really want to backhand some of these other self proclaimed furries for being so god damn stupid.

First off: Using commas instead of full-stops. That's a paddlin'
Second: Using the word "retarded" to refer to people behaving badly or inappropriately. That's a paddlin'
Third: This behaviour is generally considered inappropiate for any person let alone one specific group of people. And while I do agree with the sentiment of "needing rules", they already exist dude. Even in the video you linked one of the adults was talking about the furries being a "straw that broke the camel's back" situation, implying that there's likely more to this than it first appears.

Yeah I'm not spending more than an hour of my life watching this video. It's probably an isolated case of one (or a small handful of) weird autistic kid(s) in one school, but it fits the Republican narrative of furries destroying society and our schools so let's post it everywhere!

I'm not sure where you guys went to school, but everywhere always had plenty of those weird kids. It's (unfortunately) not a zoomer or gen alpha thing. They usually got expelled for violent outbursts back in my day, but schools now try to be more "inclusive" which is a different problem altogether.

Do you all just have some warped memories of school where you're remembering every student being civil and behaving like a proper functioning member of society? Everybody was always disrupting classes, throwing stuff around the classroom when the teacher wasn't looking, shooting spitballs, etc. Kids are animals.

I don't think the people using this website are meaningfully part of the same community as middle school kids in Utah. Anyway, it's a very odd news story. I wouldn't be surprised if this actually has very little to do with furries, at least based on what little I've read of it.

So some people are saying it was furries, some are saying it was going on for months, and some are saying it was just some autistic kid who was acting like a dog... There seems to be a number of conflicting ideas around what actually happened here, but none of it so far invalidates the other.

Could also be a case of kids wanting any excuse to not be in school, but that's speculation to what had actually happened, much like everything else here. Until someone comes forward with a police report to debunk everything, then it's just bait.

Who are "they"? Are there any actual evidence that surfaced on such behaviour being "allowed" on school grounds?
The moment you mentioned litter boxes in the school, I knew it was already an anti-furry/LGBT hoax that far-right conservatives are trying to push.

According to The Salt Lake Tribune, a spokesperson of the school threw out those claims and said that the protest "seemed to be organized after a district message sent to families last week was misinterpreted."
The message in question was sent out to parents because groups of students were being targeted for headbands or bows that they were wearing.
Of note, they had not necessarily referred to themselves as being "furries" nor had they appeared in full-body animal costumes in school.

Parents then overreacted and thought the school was picking sides, and started a petition to enforce dress codes.
Notice how the petition didn't raised any issues with children being allegedly attacked by furries or encountering any of the weird things in school.

I remember having to explain this to my cooking teacher once.
There was TECHNICALLY a "litter box" in classrooms at ONE(documented) school district in the late 2010s.
Was Jefferson County Public School District.
The school district where Columbine took place.

It was for use in case of a lockdown. It was in a "go bucket" A bucket that contained supplies that could be necessary in case of a lock down.
A way for people to be able to use the bathroom is, pretty necessary.

You bought into a news story without a second thought or any fact-checking, and you want to use this story as a basis to install "some fucking rules".
Based on your uploads/favs you seem to have an interest in GSM pride and culture, so I would strongly advise you reconsider your approach to the news instead of just sliding into reactionary politic.
