The bulk update request #7998 is active.

Reason: The sex_in/sex_inside/masturbation_inside tag famillies have gotten a fair bit larger since topic #21547 and topic #21691, so I figure now might be time to make a proper BUR to sort them out.

Unsure what to make of sex_in_mouth, since it's a very small tag (5 posts) with the usual loosely defined limits of "inside the mouth", and there's overlap with mawplay. I'm leaving it out for the time being.

I'm also surprised that there's apparently no sex_inside_balls, despite masturbation_inside_balls being a thing. I'm still making an implication for it, but I'm surprised to find it empty.

Sex_inside_uterus should stay, the other tags use Uterus, not womb. "Ass" also refers to the buttocks area, like tail, anus, perineum, and butt. It might be that we need an alias of Sex_inside_anus to sex_inside_rectum.

Hm, you're not wrong on word use, although I'm not sold on the use of "rectum". Cavity storage uses anal_storage as the homologous subtag, for instance, and the top tags using "rectum/rectal" are rectal_thermometer (102), bending_of_the_rectum (81), cloacal_rectum (73) and rectal_examination (16), so I'm don't think I'd want to normalize it, but then again, the sex_inside_* familly does have the unfortunate downside of using "inside" as its operating word.

I don't really like the current use of _ass generally, both due to potential ambiguity and the fact that it's more or less slang for things we have more neutral terms for. But that's sort of a larger discussion that might not have much bearing here for the time being. That said, anus would still be the more precise term here, no? Unless it's deep enough to instead be sex_inside_intestines, but that would be a different tag anyway.

In the case of womb versus uterus, uterus seems to be more established (plus, Wikipedia redirects womb to uterus), so I think we should go with that.

Anus is just the rim proper, isn't it? From the understanding I've long had, the point of terms like balls, ass and pussy was to provide vague umbrellas of variable scope to avoid making patterns out of words that would be incorrect ("vaginal sounding" comes to mind, as the vagina is specifically not-the-peehole). I do agree that I'm probably using it wrong here, though. But "sex inside body" normally describes stuff happening fully inside or almost fully inside, and thus behind the anus itself. I would be willing to concede and use sex_inside_anus if there's no good alternative, though.

I’m not exactly sure. I assumed that the definition of anus included some part beyond just the "rim" itself, which I think is just the sphincter. But I admittedly haven’t looked up the scientific definition so that might be wrong too.
Butt is probably still fine regardless, if for no other reason than most of our existing tags still use it. I kind of worry about masturbation_inside_ass being used for cases outside of the anus, between the buttocks, but I don’t really have anything to back that up besides a general vibe of the meaning of "ass". I wouldn’t hold up the BUR for that in any case. I’d say just change womb over to uterus and do with ass/anus whatever you feel is best and this should be good to go. The terms can always be swapped later if needed.

You know what, screw it, I'll have aliases of both ass and anus to rectum. Besides, anus would be incorrect for cloaca stuff, so it's semantically cleaner that way.

EDIT: I've also flipped womb and uterus to make the latter canonical.

EDIT2: Also, implication #51517 would have to be cleared to remove the transitive relationship.
