Topic: Very small but not micro characters

Posted under General

In my time being a furry, I have noticed a strange gap in character heights. There are plenty of micro characters, usually under 10cm tall, and some up to 20cm. There are also plenty of normal-sized characters, giant characters, macro characters, and short characters down to like 50-60cm tall. However, there seems to be a gap between about 20cm tall and 50cm tall, very small but not micro, in which very few characters have a height in this range.

Post a reply if you want to share art of a small character between about 20cm to 50cm tall. :D (that's about 8 inches to 20 inches tall for anyone not using metric).

Fantasy-species characters, like feral pokemon and such, are often... just a few inches above this range, which feels like optimal height to me. Slightly smaller characters are a bit harder to come by, but are easily found for birbs and rodents.

(...or was I trying so hard so avoid going over the range that I went under with some of them? This is actually a bit hard, though maybe just because the size of fantasy species in non-human worlds tends to be inherently ambiguous...)

Pokemon are indeed good examples, it would be great to get some non-Pokemon examples though. Most of those Pokemon are basically small animals, so it kinda feels obvious that they would be in this range. It would be more interesting to see non-animal-like characters, especially any anthros or taurs in the 20-50cm size range (usually taurs are 2m or higher, a small taur is rare I think).

One non-Pokemon character that I can think of is Timon.
