Topic: SFW or NSFW Furry Content

Posted under Off Topic

Looking for furry content recommendations. Looking for comics, animations, audiobooks, games (exceptVNs), etc. I'm looking for comedies, romance, or horror. Lastly, I liked Bedfellows, but not BeastStars. I am also not watching Bluey or Paw Patrol, or some other toddler show. Thank you in advance

Dragon Goes House Hunting is an extremely rare instance of me actually watching an anime. Letty, the world's wimpiest dragon, decides to try to buy a house, so he can stay safe from any "heroes" that might want to hunt him. Will he be able to find a home that's intimidating enough to keep heroes out, but not intimidating enough to keep him out? He never actually does, lol. The series just kind of ends abruptly. Obviously a comedy. Also, I love the opening!

is this a thing that furries do? watch animal-based toddler shows? not looking to make fun, i just would like more context if you have it

also, for furry content, i like watching patricia taxxon! all of her videos aren't furry relsted, but they're my favorite furry creator and have at least a few long-form videos on the topic of furries and furry culture.

getting high and watching kids shows has been a thing for like-- decades.

EDIT: also a lot of the shows made for kids that age are designed to be entertaining for their parents who watch along with them. because of that they end up a lot more watchable than some of the streams of color and noise intended for elementary and middle school children.

Updated

(Audio)books:

  • Varjak Paw and its sequel: It is for kids, but honestly might be my favorite animal xenofiction book. Really well written. It's about stray cats in a city and has some supernatural/horror-y elements.
  • Kyell Gold's books: Gay furry romance novels. Not xenofiction, more "zipperback". I've only read Waterways but I'm sure the rest are good too. I think most of the others are about football.
  • Tailchaser's Song: About feral cats in the countryside, has some supernatural/horror-y elements. Came out in 1985, long before Warrior Cats, Warriors just took some inspiration from TS.
  • Guardians of Ga'Hoole: About owls, set in a world without humans. The owls have technology and militaries. Kids books and I do have a huge amount of nostalgia for it but IMO the series does hold up well as an adult.
  • Watership Down: About wild rabbits, one of the first very popular xenofiction books.

Comics:

  • Ozy and Millie: Comedy, it's about two fox kids who live in a suburb of Seattle. Has Calvin and Hobbes vibes.
  • Maus: Biography of the author's father, a holocaust survivor. All characters are drawn as anthropomorphic animals based on ethnicity (Jews are mice, Germans are cats, Poles are pigs, Americans are dogs)
  • Sabrina Online: Comedy/slice of life webcomic that ran from 1996-2016 in strip format, and then 2017-present in page format. It's about an anthro skunk lady who does web design work for a porn studio. The comic is not explicit though. Zig_zag is a major character in this comic.

Games:

  • Gunfire Reborn: Roguelite with an art style inspired by Borderlands. Honestly my favorite game for the past 3 years or so. Best played with friends.
  • Tooth and Tail: RTS

Shows:

  • Aggretsuko: Sanrio show for adults about a red panda office worker who gets really angry. Comedy.
  • BoJack Horseman: About a washed up actor living in LA. About half the characters are anthropomorphic animals and half are humans. A dark comedy.

Bluey is legitimately really good and enjoyable for (some) adults. But I understand it's not for everyone obviously. Would recommend watching just one episode if you're curious though - they're only 7 minutes so not like it's a huge commitment. "Camping" is a good one to watch as an introduction.

I've got some sets with a bunch of comics. No specific themes, just stuff I like, might like, or am currently reading.
Fair warning, my tastes are fairly.. extreme. Not all the posts are hardcore kinks but some... let's just say you'll be fine if you have your blacklist set up.

Clearly you do not know about the millennials that are addicted to Bluey

Aggretsuko (life slice, humor and some romance)
Monkey Wrench (protagonists aren't furries, but there are some secondary characters some like xd, it's free on youtube; sci-fi and humor)
Chiknnuggit on youtube (adorable stuff, sometimes humor or just cute things)
StarquestTV on youtube (fantasy humor)
