i genuinely don't see why a "ship name" would matter, nor why anybody would bother to pigeonhole themselves into a single relationship dynamic. maybe some people like the idea of mewtwo being a wimpy bitchboy instead of an all-powerful psychic.

Ship names are something that are in general given for pairing of two individual characters rather than species 1 x species 2 pairings, which mewtwo x nidoqueen would be. It's a little strange to assign a ship name that encompasses literal millions of iterations of characters and potential pairs and dynamics.
