Topic: Rules on posting pools

Posted under General

Excuse me what are the rules when it come to posting comics pools?
I know an artist who has a comic they want to post people to their own website for money.
Is it allowed to only post part of a comic series and link their website? Or do the entire comic have to be posted?
I am just asking so I don't cause any trouble.

From the uploading guidelines:

"Webcomics are allowed as long as not the entire comic is mirrored here, meaning only up to a maximum of five (5) pages total.
A webcomic counts as any comic that is exclusively hosted on their own page, exclusively hosted on a webcomic host, or monetized through ads."

I made this mistake and after a year or two, the artist changed their mind after having me do all the tagging and uploading for them. Yeah, don't do it. Let them upload it themselves. I consider it a lesson learned.

I don't mind even if it is all for nothing. It's a palworld comic and we don't have alot of those so I wanna do my part of sharing it.

Getting your upload quota smashed to death in one takedown is scary, though.

Either they aren't actually 'web comics', or the author posted/gave permission, right? If there's advertising, artist has own site, and so on, assume it's a web comic for that definition.
