I went into a comment section and saw some people I used to black list to block cause they got banned

Usally I do this to avoid comments made by people who have done real crimes, don't use their blacklist, are annoying or are minors .

How do I get them out of the comment section without manually hiding each comment?

There's an option in the settings menu at the bottom to blacklist users. Is that perhaps toggled off?

The recent problems with the blacklist seems kinda suspect. This could be related to those rather than user error. Maybe user:<name> is no longer supported in favour of userid:<id>?

Yep, I'm seeing the issue. Working on fixing it.
Previous fixed were deployed yesterday, new patch is currently scheduled for Friday.
