Topic: SO much rain

Posted under Off Topic

i dunno bout the rest of you but enough with the rain and storms already. oklahoma and texas have been getting wave after wave after wave of rain and storms lately. that includes tornadoes, tons of flooding everywhere and a river just down the road from where we live here in garvin oklahoma, normally relatively small, is almost up to the bottom of the bridge now and when we checked it out yesterday it was carrying a steady flow of tree limbs, logs, and other stuff (think i saw a spray can float down too).

from a summer last year that was so hot the blinds we had up were literally melting and sagging in one of our bathrooms to soaking wet, flooding spring this year. i mean, i'm glad its not hot again (well, not yet anyway) but enough with the storms and stuff.

i think everyone will be happy when all this rain finally stops for a while.

:/ well this doesn't happen often. found out earlier we'll need to limit how much water we're using as the flooding has caused some problems over in idabel. heres hoping that gets fixed asap.

just saw a reporter on the weather channel showing a highway leading in/out of austin texas almost completely covered in water. that little creek ain't little now, that's for sure.

It sucks. My mom and I drove all over kingdom come yesterday searching for a car show that we couldn't find. There were five places with the same address. We couldn't even find one. It started raining shortly after we gave up looking, so it would have been ruined anyway.

Yep, nothing but rain and wind over here in Fennoscandia.
The weather wasn't well-suited for hiking last year, and this year seems even worse so far.

Apparently, the drought in California is so bad that we've been given documents in the mail with specific instructions to help us reduce our use of water.

Also, because of the sergal as my profile page, I can never look at rain the same way again.

That's what happens when you build a bunch of cities in the desert. Hah!

Now I'd love to talk more but I have to hide from the tornadoes.

Tornados... hell, even here in Germany we have tornados now :(

Sorry that your weather is so great, bro. 'Tis a real shame, ya know. Do you want me to tell you a story about what seasons are again?
Drought sucks though, I know.

What's with the sarcasm? I really do wish we had floods here. Getting fined $400 for using too much water is not fun.

Floods aren't fun either but we really need water

I've been loving the rain my area has been getting. Loving it so, so much. It gets cooler while it rains, and the sound of it beating down helps me to relax. Plus, when it gets really intense, and visibility starts to drop, I feel so comfortable, like I'm shrouded within sanctuary. I'm always a little sad to see it go.

No. E621 is banned. I visit E926.
Also, Happily no ISIS in my country, if not coming in the upcoming months.
I'm in their hit list too, at the first point I'm christian(which is enough to kill a person, for ISIS)!

Over here, the crops are failing because the fields are too wet to work. And we just had hail a couple of days ago.

Definitely an unusual year.

The storm's made its way to Maryland. I haven't seen the sun in three days and for once it wasn't because of poor social decisions.
