I'm curious if anyone on this site fell for it. There was lot of "hype" for it being the thing that brings us to a utopia when it was probably planned to be like the next Epstien (EpStein?) Island but with ugly monkeys.

CryptoZoo (LOL, wrestler coin), FTX (LOL, stablecoin), Doge (LOL, mutt coin)
When I heard of doge I was expecting like a tiny physical collector coin with a picture of doge. I mean we had quarters with picture that represent the states, so that make sense. But noooooo It was bloody crypto. At Least I didn't invest, but still disappointed by the reality.
They're digging a grave now.
Thank you for reminding me that a friend forced me to purchase 2$ worth of dogecoin as a dare like 4 years ago Pretty sure that’s worth like 2 cents now lmao

But really, the only coins worth considering are what I call "The Big Three": Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Litecoin.
The two runner ups I'd choose is being Monero and Dogecoin. The reason I don't include them in the "Big Three" is because:
1. Monero is interesting, as in it is a privacy focused cryptocurrency, but it has a high usage in the dark web, such as payment for ransomware.
2. Dogecoin is a meme coin, while it has value now, I'm not 100% certain on it's stability, as memes die out. It is mostly because Elon Musk meme'd about it and people bought it because of him mentioning it.
If I had to choose one, it'd be bitcoin, tried and trusted, the ol' reliable.
All the other coins are typically one or more of the following:
1. Pre-mined - The "founders" mined a ton of currency before making it public, thus getting say, 100,000 bitcoins and then advertising it as "the next big thing" in an attempt to get rich by doing nothing. Sometimes confident in their own coin (See below for when they aren't confident).
2. Rugpull scams - Often goes hand in hand with #1, also known as pump and dump. Once people buy into it, the founders dump their coin and tank the value of the coin, effectively just being a convoluted way to transfer your money to scammers.
3. Meme coins - No intrinsic value, just for shitposting. (See: woodnut)
4. Genuine "I want to be the next bitcoin" - People who want to make the next bitcoin for some specific thing like weed. They truly believe in their coin, didn't pre-mine it, don't plan to rugpull, but it just wont take off because it's yet another coin onto the millions of other existing coins.
NFTs and "digital ownership" in the "metaverse" (The new definition of what a "metaverse" that facebook/cryptobros defined, not the traditional idea like Second Life) are bullshit / scams. NFTs as a concept is fine, I like the idea of a decentralized ownership tracking system, but NFTs aren't used for that, it's used to peddle randomly generated "art" that doesn't even look good, and half the time it is legally dubious because there is the legal argument of "Do you own the art or do you own the URL? Can you even own a URL?".
Memeing on NFTs however I find funny, which, unfortunately some people didn't understand how to take a joke. Here's a few highlights of the funnis people made:

None lol, they just knew I hate crypto and thought I wouldn’t do it.
Doge coin is the OG memecoin! :-D The whole point was it would always be worthless/a joke.
Too bad Bitcoin sucks as actual you know, money. It's about as convenient as gold bullion. As in, it's not always about being a store of value. Luckily, there's methods to get around that. The nickle price analogy was interesting. Basically, some metals go up and down very fast compared to others.

Sorry it took me long to reply, just needed time process this.
Remember kids, listen to your hatred but only if it healthy.
There isn't a lot of overlap between demographics. Not only do furry artists tend to hate NFTs due to having their art stolen and minted, but also, the furry community tends to be left-leaning politically while the crypto market tends to be on the right.
