Ok, I've been noticing a few off topic posts being locked because admins say they're pointless.....I have a question. Why can't we post off topic stuff/questions in the off topic category without it being locked? I mean, of course the topic is going to be random (because it's off topic) but why lock it? Damn it *flips table* I WANT ANSWERS

It's possible to have meaningful off-topic threads without making them pointless spammy one-answer topics. Like what kind of music you listen to, discussion about a game, or other, weirder topics.

And until a certain select number of users became active, even when the weird topics did come up it was like a week or two between them. I think topic density is also playing a role in annoying the community.

Now I'm sure you're feeling persecuted because a lot of your threads were shut down, but you've also started 1 in 4 threads on the first page of Off-Topic thread, more than twice the next most active topic creator (SnowCream at 3 topics, who is followed by (Jayfeather) and KiwiPotato at 2 topics, and everyone else has a single topic on page 1 of results).

Naturally, you've started twice as many topics that have been locked on the first page, as well.

Just... slow down, man. Lerk a little more, and participate in the threads that already exist. And don't try to force the forum into being more active than naturally occurs.

At least my post prevents this thread to be locked, right?
