I am curious how people with a pain kink feel about the concept of hell. I'm mainly curious, since someone I know irl says that they would enjoy it.

Hell wouldn't be the same for everyone, it'll still be eternal torment for everyone in it even if it would have to be a different kind for such people.

Nobody deserves hell, and it would be wasted on anyone who ever could.
If Al-Hallaj was correct in his diagnosis of Iblīs (Lucifer), I could see myself extending it even to him.

I have seen enough to recognize that one brief century of living is all too harsh as it stands for most everyone and, ultimately, even that small amount of suffering fails to accomplish, resolve anything.
It cannot solve itself.

Liking something or getting turned on by it doesn't necessarily mean you can't be bothered by a deluge of it.

Imagine you have a favorite-all-time song, and you're locked eternally in a room where you're forced to listen to that song on repeat forever.

You might vibe with it initially, but years later? I doubt you'd still just be jammin' along to it.

That's why repetition-based torture exists.
