Found myself recently attracted to the Gravity Falls villain Bill Cipher and have been uploading some pics of him on my other account. What I didn't expect though was the sudden downvoting they received. I mean, I know that people here aren't really expecting porn of a triangle while browsing, but why does for example Flowey porn attract the e6 community more than the one of Bill? At the end these are just a flower and a triangle, both things that aren't lewdable at first sight.

Hell there's even porn of cars and airplanes doing better...

I just don't understand. On X and rule 34 everyone in the Gravity Falls community is celebrating Bill porn...

None of the Bill Cipher pics I've been posting are my art, but I'm just curious.

Not sure why you have an alt account for posting, but just be sure not to break any site restrictions (i.e., upload limit) if you intend to keep doing so.

If I were to guess, there could be a few factors:

• 1) Quality standards: People just have very high standards when it comes to any art. If it looks bad just a slight bit as compared to other works of the character, it just gets downvoted.
• 2) Character design: It is literally just a triangle, with genitalia attached. The few posts that do get hate seem to just be explicit art of them, though there are quite a few with upvotes.
• 3) Cringe: As evident by the comments on post #5172135, the biggest targets seem to be characters that people do not expect or want to see explicit art of.

Well to be fair this is not x, or r34, or the gravity falls community.

I don’t personally mind bill cypher stuff but just depends on the art. A lot of users here though are here for furry art of which bill cypher is not.

But also don’t worry, downvotes don’t mean much, and those images really aren’t too downvoted, once more people who like that stuff see it they’ll probably go to at least neutral.

It's sometimes arbitrary. Aside from the 'cringe' factor sometimes trans characters can get slapped with downvotes initially. People who browse the newest page tend to be the lowest common denominator of the site's users- vanilla tastes, don't blacklist, sketchy politics, and downvote heavily. Niche content will gather upvotes over time.

Incidentally, if you suspect a post of being downvoted solely for having trans characters, please report it. This kind of targetted downvoting is against site rules, and staff can investigate to look for voting patterns and handle people appropriately.

It's a little bit tricky when it's not an obvious brigading/mass down-voting. When it's like. One image gets 7 downvotes and another that's similar but is visibly trans gets 20 downvotes and it's hard to tell.

Usually, the kind of people who downvote something for being trans (or LGBT-friendly in general) will also have a bunch of other downvotes for similar stuff, where the only point of common is the trans aspect.
