You're experiencing the same problem as a million other users that have e-mailed me about this problem in the past :P Try clearing your temporary internet files/cache and deleting your e621.net cookies. It's a problem only on the client-end, not the site itself.

did not work, have something else I can do?

It's a bug with an outdated browser. IE8 still has a lot of support so I will get something running.. but it's.. extremely.. horrid that the browser doesn't work right.\

For now use mobile or turn off javascript.

It's your IE version, not that you have a bad IE, I'm working on isolating what exactly is breaking in your version of IE since the switcher isn't breaking elsewhere. and am hoping to have a resolution tommorrow.

For now. Either use mobile, turn off javascript
upgrade IE, switch to another browser

I've started seeing this on Firefox running on Ubuntu over the past day or two, BTW. Not all the thumbnails, but some - it appears to be random. If I sweep the cursor over the empty spot where a thumbnail should be, it appears instantly, and stays there. My Android tablet doesn't do it. It's a minor bug, and I'm fine swiping the cursor across the rows to see the pictures, but I thought I should report it.

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx, with Firefox 15.0.

Well...That did nothing...Crap. Looks like I'm stuck not being able to do anything here unless I'm over at my friends and using his laptop...Crap.
Hope the problem gets fixed.

My computer dosn't like other browsers.
I'm as upgraded as I can be at the moment.
Mobile version, not an option.
Any other ideas would be appreciated.

How exactly does your computer 'not like other browsers'? If you're using IE, you should be perfectly capable of using Firefox or Chrome or any others.

I've never had a browser other than IE work properly on this computer, no good reason for them not to, (that I've been able to find anyway), they just don't.
*Shurgs*
I've tryed everything that others here have had work to no avail, so any new ideas would be appreciated.

how is mobile not an option?
https://e621.net/post/m

if that doesn't work, work around is when the site asks if you want to continue running scripts hit no. then hit f5

even portable versions of any browser?

Edit:
Or you can try running any helpfile, assuming windows: Start>Run>Type/Copy (or Windows key + R>Type/Copy) only one:

hh "http://e621.net"
hh "http://e621.net/post/m"

proof

after 4 or 5 javascript errors

There are a couple reasons why the others may not work.

1. Your Operating System is old as balls. And I mean really old.

2. Something or someone tampered with some Windowssettings. Check the Proxy Settings in IE.

3. Infected System. There are a few (old) virus that change some Internetsettings in a way that newly installed programms or newer versions of programms either completely stop working or can't access the internet.

However, that is all speculation. We can only help you if you start helping us by giving us some imformation on HOW it's not working for you.

Try something out, copy/paste the errormessage, describe how it isn't working instead of saying: "It doesn't work!" over and over.
We can't just fire up our spying satellite and look at your computer screen to determine the problem because that would be rude.

And this little derp of mine, my friends is why I work with hardware and not software.
Thanks.
Gonna be a bit of a pain searching, but *Shrugs* it works again.

For some people, other browsers just simply don't work. It's a matter of fate, of some sort.

If I use Firefox, it crashes. And crashes. Anc crashes. And freezes. And crashes.

If I stand up and have someone else use it doing the exact same thing as I was just doing, it runs smoothly. No problem at all.

Seems like each browser has it's own personality, really.
