coulda sworn i saw a few new posts of their content (i know its been released from their social media) posted here on the "hot" posts tab. but now its not showing up at all? all their content is warning'd at the front and stated as "all characters are 18+" and we have prior videos of i believe ALL their characters? did it get taken down for some reason? if so, why is the rest of the content up. lol,

update, after figuring out to to see deleted posts via status:deleted, yea it seems to have been purged despite the warning of the character being 18+ as is all the artists characters? unshure. rather prefer not to have to use shady 3rd party sites.

It only matters what the characters look like, not what the artist says. Laws and people/companies putting pressure on that kind of content don't care who says what, only whether it makes them feel uncomfortable. Not like drawings of fictional characters have ages to begin with, they were never actually born but created in someone's imagination.

It looks like BigGreen does a lot of humanoid art, some of which have humanoid characters that look underage. This past year, we have the YoungHumanPurge whereupon all depictions of anything that looks like or could be mistaken for a human child or teen was removed. It appears a lot of BigGreen's deletions were part of the purge. I don't know if some of it might have been restored later on upon review.

(E621 took a purge first, ask questions later approach. We deleted the posts in question wholesale and then individually reviewed them all to see if they were a false positive. It also allowed us to get a better idea of what might be acceptable and what isn't. Also, regular Users were invited to help with finding any false positives.)

A handful of BigGreen's posts appear to have been deleted because they looked too human, lacking any relevant nonhuman traits, and weren't in a pool with a relevant character. As with a character's age, the artist's lore doesn't matter. As Watsit points out above, we go by what the characters look like in a post. If they look like an underage human, they have to be deleted, even if they're really a 500-year-old succubus/dragon hybrid thing.

Overall, the remaining posts feature adults (or a strong argument can be made that they're adults) and have enough nonhuman traits like horns or animal ears or are part of a sequence with a relevant character. They're good to stay.

Yes, it has been rather annoying, but them's the breaks.

three possible reasons:
1) they're non-human enough to get a pass
2) the young_humanoid tag wasn't on the posts at the time of the purge and they've slipped past since then.
3) the characters in the remaining explicit posts actually do not look young.
