Kissing: Maybe this one is a bit of a cheat because I'm mostly talking about kissing with tongue, which I think is considered vulgar by some, but even then I prefer subtler depictions of the act. What matters to me is how into it both parties are.

Nudity: Often, when I'm looking at nsfw artwork, I like to think about the state of dress the characters are in. (it's not just full nudity, but I don't now a term that encompasses all states of undress) How they would have ended up so undressed, what the context and implications are relative to setting, how the surfaces they are touching would feel on their bare skin, (if they have that) the idea that so much of the body is normally hidden just under the surface, and, in more exhibitionist scenarios, how it must feel to be so exposed and what kind of person would be comfortable like that. It's fun, idk what else to say about it.

Imo how raunchy or vulgar a french kiss can be depends on the style in which it is drawn, as in some styles exaggerate certain details more. Don't forget the stuff where one basically deep throats the other with their tongue, which is far from what I consider vanilla.
