It's a name used when years ago people could post without accounts. Was mentioned somewhere in a different thread recently.

I am sure I answered that question at least 3 times this weekend alone, anyway, The Dog in Your Guitar is the old name for Anonymous and all deleted Accounts.
Got turned off a couple years ago to help combat useless spam.

Oh no, it doesn't bother me, I just find it curious that this question didn't show up at all this year, except for this week.

But WHY is it "a dog in your guitar" or is this another "why is it e621" "oh its just the chemical code for MSG" thing that doesn't really have an actual reason other than raise further questions.
