there's probably hundreds more people who are underage. I respond by saying WHO GIVES A FUCK! and what about those 10 year olds on Call Of Duty and GTA what about them!

We're not Call of Duty or GTA. Site rules clearly state that you must be 18 or older to access the site.

Those ten year olds on CoD and GTA are playing games that have an ESRB rating of Mature, which is a recommendation, nothing more, for people to utilize to judge whether they or, if they have them, their children should play those games. There is a difference between an ESRB recommendation and a legally binding law that forces Bad Dragon and by association (since we're owned by them) E621.net to restrict access of pornographic material to those over the age of 18, or face fines and/or prosecution if they did not ban you until such a time as you become of legal age. The fact that you willingly lied in signing up for an account (as it requires you to confirm you are of legal age) is also rather disappointing.

The other people in this thread's ribbing of you aside (For shame, guys :/), it's really a matter of legality, Ben. It's not like we hate you or are picking on you for no good reason; You should have read the rules and obeyed them properly. Yes, I know there's not many under-18 Furry community resources, which can be a bit of a downer especially when growing up and without someone nearby you can talk to about it, but our hands are tied by law.

It's been stated repeatedly that it has nothing to do with the law.

Look kid, just wait a couple of years, the sites still probably going to be here, in the mean time you should be studying to get into a good school, and make your parents proud and whatnot...

No, it's been stated repeatedly by E621 higher-ups that the age restriction has nothing to do with them fearing a lawsuit.

Oh no, I'm not saying it's out of fear of lawsuit, but the law still is as it is which forbids minors from accessing pornographic materials, and that threat will remain unless known underage people were to be dealt with appropriately, regardless if that's the cause of the site rule or not. My apologies if it came across otherwise, that was not my intent.

The law forbids minors from accessing.
There is no law against sites not banning them.

After all, a ban doesn't actually prevent access to the porn.
