The blacklist is once again borked. *Completely*, since it now no longer blacklists avatar piccies that otherwise would be. In addition, it looks like much of the javascript functionality has been ruined (hence this new thread; I can't respond to the original at https://e621.net/forum/show/79988?page=1).

Before you ask, I do have NoScript on my Firefox install, but I have e621 whitelisted by it, and the Javascript was functioning earlier for me.

Post it in the bug report thread?

It seems alot of people's blacklists aren't working. Mine aren't either.

On a similar issue I've had problems with my blacklist for a while in that combining two tags on a single line doesn't work for example "cub rating:explicit"
Never got round to checking if it was a known issue yet though.

I really wish they stuck with the no ponies allowed rule. This site has been shit for the past two years. You can't use half the fucking features because all you ever get are fucking ponies or blacklist boxes.

You're not going to find much sympathy saying "everyone else needs to help more so my experience is perfect and I don't have to do anything."

Your user account page seems to indicate that you don't ever bother fixing the tags on posts that you're complaining about.

I'd much rather have bronies that actually contribute to the site than users who literally don't do anything but browse the site and complain when they think all the other users aren't doing a good enough job.

Reporting problems (such as inconsistent MLP tagging) is fine and appreciated, but we do expect users to help us out if they notice problems that they have the ability to fix themselves.

And there never was a "no MLP rule" to begin with. There was one for humanized MLP characters specifically, but that rule was lifted so images of humanized MLP characters are judged just the same as any other images of human characters.

Given that the content that's uploaded to e621 is only an indication of what furries are currently interested in at any given point, you're not upset with e621, you're upset with the furry fandom itself liking MLP so much. e621 can't fix that.

Also, considering the much reduced flow of MLP content (So it's not a burst dam deluging everyone with everything all at once) the MLP content is fine on e6. Two years, almost three now, was pretty bad for the MLP craze, but it's gotten much, much better.

I do appreciate your opinion, and I thank you for sharing it with the site. I do think that just because one feature is temporarily disabled does not mean the site is "shit".

It's true, everything in moderation and there is a heavy bit of MLP on e621. However, I am no more likely to get rid of MLP than I am to get rid of furries. Just not going to happen.

Char is completely correct (he usually is, but don't tell him... it inflates his ego too much). Bronies are just as welcome here as anyone else.

I have no trouble with things I don't like on this site, That's what blacklisting by subject, Artist or material is for, But it would be nice if the Blacklist wasn't breaking down so much lately..!

I know, and I feel your frustrations. I personally don't have a blacklist (my job, gotta make sure I can see everything that happens), but I know how important it is.

We are trying to get this up and running, and we have identified the underlying cause for some time, we've been plugging away at fixing it for months now.

We will get there, I promise you. Just bear with us :)

Hmm. I haven't had any issues unless I'm on IE... Chrome and Firefox are fine for it. Maybe it's something with that?

...or you could just blacklist MLP and your problem is solved. Once blacklist works again that is.

These bugs with add fav., blacklist, respond, etc. are really annoying.
