Well, looking at the user listing, some ids are skipped (1-5, 8-16-23-40-46-48-58-106 -- that's just on the last page) so I guess those accounts were actually deleted...

And yes, some of the dog_in_your_guitar accounts are remainders of deleted accounts. We'll never know who they were or why they were deleted, but it was probably a good reason.
