Excellent! As for the avatar, it does'nt have to be tiny-sized (less than 150px, though there are exceptions ). Basically anything that has been already posted here can be used.

And as for intellectual, you mean literate, specialized in something, able to art, be able to do something or all of the above?

The site will automatically display ANY image you set as your avatar in the appropriate avatar-ish size. No need to worry about the size of the image itself. You can, in fact, select any image already on the site to use as your avatar. Most people do, probably because it is easiest and uploading something just for using as an avatar is against the rules. Uploads have to be of a good quality to stay on the site, so it's just easier to find something already uploaded rather than worry about finding something specifically to upload here. And welcome to the site!

The perception you got from that was not as intended, and in fact quite the opposite. It's undeniable that my sanity is lacking, or even nonexistent. This is why it does not require questioning. The fact that I love to suckle upon oversized phalluses incredibly affects my mental health.

Ah well, this site seems to be for experts in a field I don't understand. I don't mean to be a bother with my inability to grasp it's intricacies. I'll just have to try again at another time.

Yeah, we do have a quality standard we try to hold up. Try scanning it in properly if possible or get a (much) better camera and some proper lighting towards that wall and do it again, best without the glass in front of it. Though even then I can't guarantee it will be approved, but at least your chances will be much better.

I just wanted to say before I turned in, when I saw the pictures I knew what I was getting into, don't be too hard on the esoterics, I'm not scared off yet. I doubt I'll find anybody as obsessed as I am, or even in the same WAY that I am, but searching here for a while for a collaborator may eventually prove fruitful.

Well, I've been poking on Blender for a bit, and trying to draw a cube in a 2D Canvas (HTML5) -- just for fun/experimentation, does it count?

It would seem to be the final option since because of a slight learning disability, I cannot use C. But everything looks very promising now. I just need to finish purchasing computer parts.

Nope! Too many symbols, so little time XP *looking for a missing symbol one by one using search because I don't have an IDE for web development, just notepad2*

Good luck with that! Framerates can be a pain, sometimes you need to remove unnecessary instructions or optimize other parts of the code to keep it at a reasonable value. Things like alpha blending, reading the current date (not sure if applicable to you, but I've used it and is rather slow), paint style, and general drawing methods can take a lot to complete.

My trouble was Win98 and my slow hardware. This problem has already been solved I think, I'm just hoping that Blitz Basic won't be too freezy/crashy...
It is very fast, and I've compared it to some c code.
It is not, however, being supported any more, so... This is it.

I've got all my actors modeled, my books/scripts readied, but no motion tracking hardware. Been using my... ha... Mouse.
