Topic: Delete Sets made by Banned users

Posted under General

Would it be possible to have sets made by users with permabans to be deleted after some time?

I am just asking due to banned users who keep making new trolling sets like for example: renamon covered in cum set and then getting banned leaving it on the site.

Due to the fact the user who made the set is banned, and there are no Maintainers (0) for the "public trolling set"...

Could that just be deleted along with other sets like it made by banned users for the sake of trolling?

If you give it attention, Conker, it'll keep coming back.

He already made 5 new accounts before I even replied to it. He will come back anyway.

Just ignore him and let the admins do what they do.

If a set is actually breaking the rules we can hide it manually. Otherwise, just because a set was made by someone who got banned doesn't mean the set is invalid, so deleting them automatically would be bad.

But the set I used as an example is just a mess of trolling images with a misleading title and desc. None of the images even match to the title/desc, doesnt that make it invalid and useless?

Without any maintains or owner there is nothing to change, add, or do with it. Its pointless at that rate isnt it? Why not just delete them?

Also since you brought up sets breaking the rules....there is no way to report a set for doing so as there is no "report" feature on set pages for rule breaking sets like that. So how could that be done? I notice there is a set called "shitposts", isnt that breaking a rule right off the bat? Yet there is no report feature on those pages to report it. So how would you suggest to report such sets?

All sets made by banned users should go onto a listing that the janitors can clean up if they don't qualify as a proper set (as the aforementioned renamon covered in cum pool should not qualify).

This is actually a very good suggestion, in my opinion.

Agree. Or mods should atleast make it a thing to look at the sets of a user they're banning, especially if they've just made an account and gotten banned shortly thereafter, because this implies they are a troll and might be doing troll-ish things.

INFACT, if sets are the problem, can we have set-making rules such that the delay-period for making sets is longer than the waiting period for uploads? So like... 2 weeks or such? Dunno whether that's structurally simple to set up on this system or whether that would have to involve hack-idge.

This is a good idea, but only if the ban is a perm one. It would really help clear up the sets with a (permbanned) owner and no maintainers.

That was the primary intention, but I was also considering multi-year bans as well, since they wouldn't have maintainers for multiple years.
