I'm in the middle of a brainfart, probably from my headache...

Ok, so im looking for a joystick, need one because the games i've been playing as of late have included avionics (Fighters, gunships, ect) my ball mouse works....well id say it wouldn't even win me a bronze medal, i can fly around without crashing but dogfighting and ATG combat is useless....in the latter i usually get shot to heck and then faceplant my fighter into the side of the building or ground when i come in on my attack run. XD

anyway, advice on brand an model would be nice. also wouldn't mind one with one of those trigger guards on the top, you know, have to flick a cover off before you can press it which keeps you from accidentally firing. (sadly thats why i made the thread, i dono what its called...)

Saitek.

Thread's over, really. There's no one else you should be looking at for a joystick; go to their website and check out all the models they offer, and you should be able to find one that'll work for you.

If you can swing the money for it, the X65F is hands-down the best joystick/throttle control system you can buy right now.

Yeah, I've got a joystick you can play with.

In all seriousness I can't believe they're still so popular.

what would you use then? because this ball mouse is hell on my equilibrium and i dont have much space for a normal mouse so i have to pick the dang thing up and put it back in place every time i swipe it across the space.....

Yeah Saitek would probably be your best bet. I think we used to have one of those for mech warrior 3 when I was a kid.

Good times, Good times.

Is it possible to get a MechWarrior series disk on ebay or something and run it on a modern computer? or maybe a special OS? saw a kid of my parent's friend play it 10+ years ago. after MechAssault 1&2, I really wanna play that game series. ¦[
