What if this site had no admins? Think about it just for a moment. What would change? What would happen? I found myself thinking about this about a few days ago, after seeing a user flag a image for deletion thinking it was a automated system. It got me thinking, what would happen if this site had no admins?

Would creepy comments, rping, and trolling run amuk? Would the site be spammed with real porn and low quality troll images? Would there be a lot of spam threads linking to porn, racist topics, viruses, and advertisements? Would trolls flag for deletion all good images for false reasons like "deleted lol" and "Ha I deleted your image" and the images would be deleted if ran by a automated system? Would normal users flag these troll images back to try to fix the site? How long do you think this site would last before all the common users left it? ..and how long do you think the trolls would stay here until they moved on?

This is just a thought I had awhile ago, and I thought it would make a good topic of discussion. Now the question is, what do you think?

The site would collapse, artists would want their art gone, etc. Server burnings...

I think you already know that the answer to all of those questions is that yes, that those things are most likely what would happen.

There would be no take down requests...I guess a automated flagging system would work but other than that I dont know. Also I dont think there would be a way to fix tags, bad tagging all over the place without admins to look over allies tags.....if it was a automated system we would have terrible tagging as well, that is if users didnt delete everything off the site by than. I just wonder how long the normal users and trolls would stick around.

Well, no admins means no bills getting paid, so we'd have complete chaos for up to a month, then the site would go away.

If 1 person paid the site's bills but didnt touch the site admin wise or even check on it. Thats whats being suggested...

Most users wouldn't care until their favourite tag started to suffer, and with all the different tags, that might take a while.

I think the big issue is when the major uploaders and major commenters get fed up and leave, then the place will lose a lot of it's appeal and others will start to leave until it becomes a ghost town.

Despite what misinformed artists think, this site is fairly heavy on rules and support for them to be a better site for them. So rules not being enforced plus half the site visitors being creepy means it would go to shit in a month tops

If you call banning someone that disagrees with your view "moderation", than thats a whole other story. Mind you they allow posting of how to make mustard gas, animal abuse, and killing yourself. Only people that seem to get banned are ones who disagree with a certain mod/admin. So I would not call that moderation at all.
