I'm getting Pink Floyd's The Wall, some diecast cars, all of the Fast and Furious movies, an Aerosmith album, a Doors album, and some glass ornaments. Those are all the gifts I know about, the rest are secret. So, what are you guys getting?

I just wish Tri was backwards compatible with Ultimate. :/ It seemed really bastardy to release 3U as basically an updated graphics version of Tri and leave those of us who play it behind. ;_; (Mostly annoyed that it's not mostly new stuff, same worlds same everything, just a few new things. :x)

Yeah, my parents give me much more than I need, but they don't really need it either so I don't complain. Usually I try and spend a good portion of it back on them anyway. Stuff does cost a little more here, but it's still a ridiculous amount.

I'm sorry. ;w; I usually use the twin daggers, the hunting horn, and the insect staff in MH 4. The charge axe is too slow for me, I like using quicker weapons, or the horn when I feel like playing as support.

Also, I opened up my presents earlier. Got some new clothing, the Legend of Korra OST, and a Cintiq Companion for Xmas, I was all kinds of squealing when I opened the wrapping. @.@

hey, on a side note, think you could draw some crossover mlp and monster hunter for the holidays XD there is surprisingly little quality art.

I also use Gunlance against shit I have trouble against, like a souped up Rajang, or Teostra. E.E;

I did like two sketches of Twilight with a Nargacuga and Applejack with a Zinogre a while back, but I'm kind of trying to avoid mlp stuff for now.

But seriously, gunlance has to be my favourite weapon in MH. Insect staff is pretty good, but I don't find it to be as useful as being able to turtle/charge like you can with the gunlance. Also has some of the best multi-part breaking, from my experience, due to hitting a part multiple times with the heavy attack, assuming you can get it off.

I just wish that ranged weaponry was more functional. :x It's so clunky to use in MH, and so weak comparatively! >.<

As for Sollux's last post- Alatreon was my favourite to fight until it became more a chore to fight him farming for the best gear materials, but I think the one that made me go, "WHOA." is the very first Elder Dragon you're introduced to, Jhen Mohran. Every time I went back and fought that bugger it was just amazingly fun, even after I was decked out in Alatreon gear. Always felt epic, always fun.

weak ranged weapons? HA whoever you saw using them wasn't doing it right, there's next to nothing a team of 4 perfectly equipped gunners can't do in under 5 minutes, though they are clunky as hell.

I've always been the heavy weapons guy. Even as a hunter in WoW, I scoffed at others using the faster weapons, and actually demonstratably proved that ignoring the heavier weapons for a faster rapid shot was actually detrimental, given how haste affected a larger portion of your total cooldown because it was a percentage, so you got more effectiveness per point out of it on what was usually a much higher base.

That's exactly the problem right there. They aren't sufficient on their own. Try taking on a Deviljhos with just a bowgun and you'll find it vexingly slow and dull (because it basically consists of dodging, taking a shot, repeating that over and over again). Sure, you could use specialty ammo to get neat effects, but it felt more like a parlour trick than an actual reliable tool other than for support firing (blowing up barrels that someone was setting with Crag S, Dragon S, Clust S, or the ever popular Pierce S (gotta love those multi-hit shots) for example, or to distract in a party). Not saying they didn't have a use, but compare it to any melee weapon and they are unilaterally worse in every aspect except range. I mean, the best standard bowgun sports less than a third of what you see on the top tier 2Hers, falling more in line with the terrible damage of SnS.

And in case it's not obvious, it wasn't me watching others 'not doing it right', but personal experience. They were built too weak for solo, too strong for coordinated play. :x

I don't think anyone is expected to solo with gunner sets, I usually see a good team consist of either a ls/hammer( or hunting horn), a ds( or gs)/lance and two heavy gunners, it provides good dps, cutting and ko, and the gunners can usually aim for the center with Para and other statuses, it provides a nice safety net with all the swagger staggers. I'm not saying a team with all blademasters is bad, but gunnery doesn't suck, unless you solo.

Yeah, I had one a while back called Monster Breeder, that was combined with other adult dragon content, which I called DracoSafari. There's some adult MH stuff in a sequel that I did called DracoTrek. This CD will be solo MH stuff only with some Monster x Monster, and Monster x Hunter action.

About all I have to work with Hun is a handful of sl screenshots on flicker and some art on. Fa the screenshots show cen from head to foot to tall and front right and back. The art tend to be only 2d...so what would be easier?

Lol no, I make professional grade weapons, like pulse rifles and cram turrets for millitarys. I design bodyarmor and mod decoritive items for them too like targeting visors and stuff.

Mkay, maybe I didn't explain what I was thinking well enough (Looking at it, I most certainly didn't; I blame it on just waking up and not thinking clearly); I don't mean the typical breezy bikini and thong with feathers pieces you see, but like, actual monster armors.
