Topic: Art was taken own

Posted under General

I uploaded an original MLP character that had been humanized, and it was taken down because of "irrelevant to site". So aren't Human humanized character allowed? for if I search on "human" I get many many result, even some that comes from MLP

Anything non furry is subject to the whim to the one that looks at it for acceptance.

Basically if it's non furry, it may or may not get in. You take that risk with those

Do you have a better idea then?, the post may or may not get approved, it's a risk you gotta take when uploading human-only art.

If you mean the same image then no, knowingly uploading previously deleted content is against the rules, if you ment to upload different human pictures then that's up to you :P

Yes, set a rule if human art is allowed or not, instead of it needing to be in that awkward spot when it's the luck of the draw.

I've tried, believe you me. At least it's better than a flat 'no'.

Officially, human art isnt "allowed".
Any that is allowed is because an admin was being nice, and made an exception.

To be safe, assume it will be deleted if there's no anthro and/or animal content depicted.

Here's a basic guide to what you can expect when uploading human images. Why the fuck did I spend so long writing it? Oh well, I can just paste it into every thread like this that pops up.

Anime character: Most likely to be rejected. There's plenty of sites dedicated to anime around, e621 doesn't need them here. Exceptions are sometimes made, for example if the image is interesting and isn't just generic porn.

Anime character with cat ears: If the said anime character happens to be wearing animal ears of any kind, the image is usually accepted. Throw in a tail for extra chance. Depending on the admin, it still might be rejected, although I have an 100% success rate on this.

Furry content containing humans: If the content you're posting contains humans, but is actually a furry related there will be no problems uploading the image.

Humanised MLP: This really depends on the admin. There's a higher chance of it being accepted, but in the end there's some admins that'll just treat it the same as any human character. If they have animal ears or other non-human features it'll strengthen the chance of the image being accepted. If the image contains a normal person with no hint of being a humanised pony apart from their hair colour and style, there's a higher chance of it being rejected.

Real-life humans: Definately not. There is specifically a rule against the uploading of real life porn. Although if you Photoshop a naked girl to look like Krystal, it can be accepted.

I don't claim this guide to be accurate, and is solely based upon personal experience and posts I have seen be accepted or rejected. It's really just to help you decide "should I upload this?" rather than tell you what you can and can't do.

There used to be a thing in the rules detailing the risks of posting non-furry artwork. It's gone now. I guess just pretend it's still there?

I was actually wondering about that, where did it go? Or actually... why is it gone?

I have a feeling its more about
a) Quality of uploaded piece.
b) Popularity of artist being uploaded/ if they also draw non-human art
c) If there is a parent/child post of something related to it that is furry.
I mean admin whim is a big issue, but I feel they do a pretty good job with the current system...

You can write that in a wiki and link it to people (who knows, maybe it will be linked in the upload page)

Wow, did I really write that last night? I was drunk out of my mind around about the time of writing that. This morning I woke up with broken glass all over my kitchen floor.

You seem pretty lucid in that comment

This morning I woke up with broken glass all over my kitchen floor.

I agree, he can accidentally start a fire with all the glass on the floor!

The fact I accidentally started quite a large fire on a hillside makes that scarier
