Topic: Being accepted and fitting in (why is it so hard?)

Multiple times I have been rejected, whether it was in public or on a chat site. Why does the society have to be so cruel? Out lives seem to be filled with critics and jerks everywhere we go. When they learn something about you, something they don't like, they instantly try to make you feel unwelcome! I just want to know that I'm not alone and that my life isn't just a big load of crap.

Being accepted and fitting in are almost opposite things.
Being accepted is about people liking you for who you are.
Fitting in is about acting the way people think you should act.

If people aren't willing to accept you they are assholes.
Unless of course they're unwilling to accept you because you're being an asshole.

If you feel the same way I hope you can use this to talk about your experiences like this. Who knows, you just might make someone's day!

Inane and irrelevant.

You are underage.
At least accept the truth, and inevitability, with grace.
