Having SSH and root access FTP on their standard ports with root/abcdefgh12 wasn't such a smart idea after all.
Those fucking cunts turned my server into a spambot.

Now I reset it and use a keyfile and instead of FTP I use SFTP.

I had a server up a few months with a PHP shell with full access over the system as the index page for a while.

I was hoping it would be fucked with a ton, eventually a Tunisian "hacking group" just replaced the index with propaganda without doing anything fun :(

I've heard there's like these huge government-run hacking centers in china that basically try to bruteforce everything on the internet pretty much 24/7, including some rather worrying military computers too.
My twitter account got the same treatment and for a while I was trying to sell my followers chinese medicine.

Still, it was a learning experience and I've stopped using the same password for everything now.

I like how the Chinese bitch about being portrayed as "hostile" in media and entertainment, and say it's unfair.

Furthermore people seem to realize that we are part of nature too and we should be 100% concerned about these peti aspects of our lives because these are our day to day things we are expected to handle living in modern society.
