The death of a cartoon dog is 'the most sad thing you've ever seen'?

You win the prize for being even whiter than I am.

Dude, I literally just saw the same episode. I think the saddest thing was the day my first dog died. It was sudden, too. My mom told me the dog was dead after I'd gotten home from school.

Well if I must... when I left my home city San Antonio texas to go to college in Seattle Washington, and I drove to my BF's house to say goodbye it took like two hours to get us both to stop crying... I know you, can laugh but be that as it may I don't think to that point I had ever seen him even show any signs or capbilitys of feeling sadness so that says a lot...

I was running a makeshift pharmacy in an abandoned outdoor school in el salvador and had to turn away a family because their doctor wrote prescriptions for drugs I didn't have. They'd traveled almost 40 miles despite not having shoes.

I know, not as sad as a cartoon dog dying, but that's all I got.

Why would anyone laugh? Leaving someone you love is painful, and you have every right to be sad about it.

I don't know why but some people can be hateful I personally try to ignore it but it can get pretty vexing :|

I'm not usually a feels person (I rarely express them). I might be cold, if you like.

But this got me.

And as a guy who likes to build stuff (not as actively as before), it's horrible seeing your creations being destroyed in front of you...

Damn, I need to watch that episode. Off-topic, whenever I think of Space Dandy, I imagine an intro for it to this song.

It's the newest episode. You'll have to wait until it's available online, or whatever.

I would because he cheated on his boyfriend a few days later.

I hate to respond to this and run the risk of createing drama but it was more like two or three months

Does the difference between a few days and a few months make it better or something?

Not the saddest, but the first thing that came to mind:

There's a documentary about a terminally ill man travelling to Europe to be euthanized. While he's on the bed, about to take the medicine that will kill him, he just holds his wife's hand. They then say goodbye and kiss for the last time. She stays by him while he passes away.

Maybe it's the fact that I have anxiety about something happening to my partner, but I get teary-eyed just thinking about it. I can't even imagine the strength it takes to let someone important die to end their suffering.

Counting only movies etc. Hachiko hands down.

Akbar's thread titles are pretty sad. You DO know there's already a categorization menu when you MAKE the thread? You don't have to put a giant 'OFF TOPIC' when you make em.

F'real though, I don't know why you'd *want* to know everyone's sob stories. Family deaths are pretty devastating (I've had a couple) but that's more personal than I'm willing to spill here.
If you're just talking about things that didn't happen to me directly, I recommend the Post Secret website if you're looking for a sadness boner. People just getting things off their chest, sometimes silly, sometimes life-destroying. Updates Sundays!

I just do the ---off topic--- thing. It's my forum-shtick. As for the sad sad emotional theme, i was litterally watching the episode whilst typing.

SHOTS FIRED, MAN DOWN!

I only got on the verge of tears a few times because I'm a man, and there are only very few things a man can tear up for. First, during 9/11 (self-explanatory). When John Coffey died at the end of Green Mile, and when Rhyme got 'rased by that shark noise.

One morning my dad left the house for work and immediatley returned with the corpse of our ten-month-old cat.

Fuck this thread.

NO.

WHY DID YOU MENTION THAT MOVIE?

;_;

It really doesn't take much to make me tear up. I'm very emotional. The only thing that comes to mind is practically every episode of sword art online; something bad always happens! If I were Kirito I would've started cutting at least.

The death of L in Death Note was one of the most recent heart-wrenching, gut punching, feel-plucking moments in my anime-watching career. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood was pretty bad what with Maes Hughes' death. I get upset when I think about losing people close to me... but I'm just a whiny baby anyway.

Being a Furry forum, how's that nobody has mentioned the English credits of One Stormy Night?

I have to say I also cried while playing Hotel Dusk, when Dunning Smith tells you his history.

I worked in an evidence room at a Superior Court.

Oh god, not that show..

Did you watch the second half?

Updated by anonymous

I skipped to the last 2 episodes of swordart on toonami... i just kept thinking "you people are just begging if not praying for NTR parodies". I did not like sword art cuz it reminded me of AnoHana and its trying too hard sadness. But thats just me... Personally I think Code Geass is one of the most feel inducing stories in anime.

Yes I did, but like most I feel it can't approach the first arc. On a related note, google Age of Aincrad.
