Do you guys have quotas? I'm just asking this because I just learned that police officers have quotas and I wondered if the admins have any. Forgive me if this is considered a "stupid question"

Well, cops would have you believe they don't have quotas. And most probably don't. Then again, retired cop testimonials say some departments have "contact points" which are given per ticket and used for promotions and the like. So there's that. /nitpick

There are no real quotas, as long as an admin is active he stays one, we only demote one if they dropped of the face of the earth for months without any sort of notification or anything.

Police don't technically have "quotas".
You'll never find a police department where the head of the department(chief/captain/whatever) says "you must write x number of tickets every week".
That being said, frequently they do have situations where the number of tickets, or lack thereof can impact their job.
This continues all the way up to the top as well, and is largely the fault of the people, not the police.
See, the uniform cops have to write tickets to keep their bosses happy, the detectives have to keep their arrest record high to keep their bosses happy, the sergeants and department heads have to maintain a high arrest record across their unit to keep the police chief happy, the police chief has to keep all the arrests in their jurisdiction high to keep the politicians happy, and the politicians have to keep arrests high so they can tell the people that they're working as hard as they can for public safety.

So, in the end, police are hard on the people, because the people want police to be tough on crime.

Dunno about a lot of those, but aurali was voted out due to inappropriate attitude/actions from what I heard.

Resigned, resigned (after being demoted for abuse of power), contract not renewed, retired, stepped down, resigned.

Most did not want to be a part of the site any more and resigned, some had agreement issues and could not work them out, some lost interest in the site, some stepped down after being demoted, and some just dropped off the face of the earth, like snow and klohound

Admins have no quota, but are expected to stay in contact or be active and if neither requirements are met within a few months, are demoted until such a time that they return

Mellis was the best admin.

I also miss Riversyde.

My contract to maintain and not opensource the codebase expired without renewal. For the better either way.. I've been craving on a 'from scratch' upgrade for literally years. The original codebase has always been total junk.

As the admins have already stated, I don't enforce any real quotes, but I do judge activity, as has been the case since before I took over.

Except ippiki. He has to do 100 bans a week.
