It has been an amazing time with everyone here, with our ups and downs, through the bans and all the fun little bit of drama. It has truly been a wonderful experience and I am very happy to have been a part of it.

e621 has seen incredible growth: we roughly double our capacity, and daily activity, every quarter. There is more art that hits e621 than nearly any other site out there, and people come here to see fresh, new content. From humble beginnings and less-than-sterling reputation, to the fastest-growing and strongest furry art site out there, e621 can only get bigger, and better.

All that being said, we can only push further to achieve more. A website like e621 needs experience at its helm, and we are very excited to announce that we have partnered with some very enthusiastic individuals who have some great plans for the site!

This team of highly dedicated and experienced businessmen have a long and highly decorated career at expanding the social network platform, tailoring each venture with a unique angle that truly makes everyone feel special.

Myself, the administrators of e621, and the staff at Dragonfruit, would like to thank you for your time and all the wonderful stories. Unfortunately, there will not be enough room for us in the coming weeks, so we bid you adieu. We leave you in very capable hands, and we hope for the best in the coming year.

At this time, we are not at liberty to discuss anything in regards to the deal. You must forward your questions to the new owners, who should make their appearance in the coming weeks.

Yeah, I can't believe I fell for it for a good 5 minutes. I even believed NotMe was banned. Wasn't until I saw someone's April Fools post on another site that I realized it. Total facepalm.

Two thumbs up, would believe again.

Tfh I fell into it for two reasons. 1. For me it was 2 april when post appeared. 2. There was wave of sudden sellout throughout network. You guy could even hint that purchaser is zuckerberk or something for better effect.
On NotMe's post suspense got lost and I realised what it is ;p

Thing is, it became immediately apparent it was a joke when you went to a different website and it suddenly vanished. Real red pixels don't do that.

how did I not see this coming? I spend 3 HOURS hoarding special pictures in case the "new owners" buggered something up. thanks :/
