Hey there folks,

I know of a few furry comics that haven't been posted here or, they have but have not been posted to completion (har har). Before I go about adding any content I thought it'd be worth asking whether or not there's any accepted way to verify whether a comic series is "okay" to post.

By that I mean is there a grace period we extend artists between when they post content and when we upload it here. I know that some artists upload their own content here via schedule and I'd rather not step on toes.

Any suggestions or general experiences anyone would care to share?

Well, you go up to them

Ask them if it's OK to post it elsewhere

And you're done.

Always ask for permission before you post. I've been denied and approved by the owners of images to upload it here. Some might even get offended/angry that you posted their stuff without their permission. Some might go so far as to request being put on the DNP list or constantly check to see if their character is posted and take them down immediately

I never understood why artist would do that until I actually started producing pictures myself.. I don't really have an explanation why I don't like it just. Most of the time it can be posted without any credit toward the original creator and that is very annoying sometimes.
