Being French, I want to help translating but I wanted to know if there is a way to know when a pic that needs translation from French comes up. And, of course, if there are still pics that need those translations (I tried using "translation_request -japanese_text", but there are still 19 pages of it).

If you're familiar with RSS/Atom feeds, you can subscribe to any search and the posts in that search will show up in your feed reader. Just run a standard search and do whatever you'd normally do to subscribe to a feed on a page (usually click the RSS icon in the address bar or something) then select "e621 - Posts".

There's also tag subscriptions, but those aren't available to members (or at least don't work 100%) and I don't really know much about them.
