Honestly, I am interested and will get it, but Gen 3 is my least favourite :o

I'm sick of people jumping to conclusions. It said a NEW adventure in a NEW world. A remake wouldn't be a "new" adventure, nor would Hoenn be a "new world". In X and Y the NPC who gives you the Strange Souvineer outright said it was from a new region that is "not Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, or Unova." Anyone who plays the games is well aware that legendaries are by no means restricted to their debut region. We could be looking at a whole new game.

It's named "Omega Ruby" and "Alpha Sapphire".
It's going to be a remake of Hoenn, in a "New 3d World".
Cuz it's 3ds.
Will it be identical to old Ruby/Sapphire?
Definitely not, but it's not going to be a whole new thing either.

Might actually buy a Pokemon game for the first time since Diamond. Loved Sapphire to death as a kid. Still play it now during downtime at work/school.
