Because the tag "Detailed background" Can also apply to uselessly drawn curtains of to the side of the pic, so it doesn't apply as well to the background as "Scenery porn"

Still... We have tons of less useful tags.

I wouldn't be against it. But I think it'd need a good wiki description, since 'scenery porn' is kind of ambiguous by itself and not everyone is familiar with the TV Tropes definition.

Maybe the concept should have a tag, but it's not porn, so tagging it as porn on a website where there's porn seems wrong.

But there's a lot of variety under amazing, not just scenery.

We already have the underused amazing_background tag, though. And maybe most of scenery porn would fit under there..

Definition of porn:

Television programs, magazine, books, etc. that are regarded as emphasizing the sensuous or sensational aspects of a nonsexual subject and stimulating a compulsive interest in their audience.

Notice nonsexual subjects.
There is earthporn and gunporn but it's basically something that is so beautiful that it almost becomes sexual.
